The Blizzard Anomaly 88 gives a nod to the classic Brahma 88 skis, but don’t be fooled—this is a complete re-design. While you could seamlessly jump between the two, the Anomaly 88 has been reworked from the ground up with Trueblend cores and a new Titanal configuration, resulting in even more life on edge. Whether you're carving down icy groomers at Sugarbush or ripping through the hardpack, these skis give you the precision and power you need.
The Anomaly 88 delivers a snappy and lively ride with a stable feel at speed.
Dimensions and handling
Waist width: 88mm, making it a versatile all-mountain ski suitable for groomed runs and variable snow.
Turning radius: 16.5m at 176cm length. The radius changes with ski length.
Rocker profile: A rocker-camber-rocker profile enhances turn initiation and flotation in powder, while camber underfoot ensures edge grip on packed snow.
Ability level: Designed for advanced to expert skiers.
Construction and materials
Core: The TrueBlend All-Mountain Woodcore is made with different densities of poplar and beech woods. Denser wood is placed underfoot for stability and power, while softer wood in the tips and tails provides a smoother flex for better maneuverability.
Laminates: It uses a "FluxForm All Mountain" metal layup, which includes two full sheets of Titanal, broken into four individual strips. This increases dampness and stability while maintaining a forgiving flex.
Sidewalls: Full sidewalls offer direct energy transfer to the edge
The TCX 11 binding comes pre-mounted on a demo plate and provides a convenient, adjustable setup.
DIN range: 3–11, suitable for intermediate and advanced skiers.
